School-Based Social Worker - Lapeer, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Completion of a master’s degree (required, cannot accept bachelor’s degrees)
• Active LARA license in Michigan (such as LMSW, LPC, LP, or related credentials)
• Eligibility includes:
  • Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist or School Psychologist
  • Limited Licensed (LLP or LLPC) or MDE Credentialed Master’s Level Psychologist, under appropriate supervision
  • Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker or School Social Worker
  • Limited Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker, supervised
  • Licensed Master’s Level Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Licensed or Limited Licensed Master’s Level Professional Counselor, supervised
  • School Counselor License, School Counselor (NT) Endorsement, Preliminary School Counselor Credential, or Temporary School Counselor License (with ability to meet LARA counselor requirements within 24 months)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group social-emotional support to students
• Assist educators and school staff in implementing positive behavioral interventions
