Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution
- Current Michigan licensure as a social worker (LMSW) or counselor (LPC) strongly preferred; limited licensure (LLMSW/LLPC) considered with a commitment to full licensure
- Experience working in a public school or similar agency setting highly valued
- Familiarity with functioning within collaborative teams and multi-tier systems of support
- Comfortable managing K-12 caseloads in an onsite environment
- Ability to provide official university transcripts, LARA license, and MDE SW approval upon request
Core Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data to inform and recommend interventions to staff and building administrators
- Design, implement, and monitor tiered social-emotional interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support student growth and promote engagement in the educational process
- Attend and contribute to MTSS meetings, student support team discussions, and parent conferences
- Maintain accurate documentation, including logs of student encounters and formal reports for the MTSS Supervisor
- Deliver individual and/or group counseling services, using research-based behavioral management strategies
- Coordinate and monitor services for families to ensure wraparound student support
