What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree (required; client does not accept bachelor’s degree)
  • LARA license (see Michigan LARA website for details)
  • One of the following credentials:
    • Licensed master’s level psychologist/social worker/marriage & family therapist/professional counselor
    • Limited license (under supervision) in one of the above fields
    • MDE credentialed school psychologist
    • School Counselor License (SCL), Michigan Teaching Certificate with School Counselor (NT) endorsement, Preliminary/Temporary School Counselor Credentials (with completion of LARA requirements within 24 months)

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct social-emotional support to general education students, both individually and in groups
  • Support teachers and classrooms with professional learning and positive behavior programs
  • Serve in one of three open roles: two in elementary, one at the high school level
