Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and valid state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Background in providing social-emotional support and counseling services within school settings
• Familiarity with designing and implementing individualized student intervention plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and group facilitation preferred
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and social support to students throughout the academic year
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning and recommend plans of action for student success
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to coordinate resources and create personalized support strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of special education services
• Facilitate workshops on topics such as social skills, bullying prevention, and coping mechanisms
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with all stakeholders
