In this assignment, you'll be stepping in to cover a key maternity leave for the 2026-2027 school year, working with a manageable caseload of 40 students. Your compassion and expertise will ensure continuity of support for students as you collaborate closely with educational professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and/or certification to practice as a School Social Worker
  • Experience in a school setting, especially with IEPs, preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for supporting students’ social and emotional development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with students per their IEP minutes, ensuring ongoing support during the maternity leave
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
  • Collaborate with educators and families to address student needs
