Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker certification
• Active Michigan state Social Worker License (LMSW, LLMSW, or LCSW)
• Experience supporting middle school-aged students preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to fostering the social and emotional well-being of students

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling services to students
• Assess student needs and develop targeted intervention plans
• Work with teachers, administrators, and other staff to address social and behavioral challenges
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized education or behavioral plans
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and required documentation
• Engage families and community resources to provide comprehensive student support
