As a Social Worker in this district, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to make a positive impact on K-8 students at a single, vibrant site serving approximately 18 students directly. The district is supportive of both emerging professionals and seasoned practitioners, offering an encouraging atmosphere for learning and leadership.

Key Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for (or willingness to obtain) Colorado Department of Education Social Worker credentials; candidates in process encouraged to apply
  • Prior school-based social work experience preferred, but strong new graduates also welcomed
  • Ability to provide direct services and act as a team lead and case manager
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to onsite, in-person services—remote or hybrid schedules are not available
  • Willingness to share updates if you are relocating or completing credentialing

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver approximately 6.5 hours weekly of direct support to K-8 students
  • Serve as case manager and team lead, coordinating services and supports
  • Collaborate closely with the site’s fellow social worker overseeing upper grades
  • Attend monthly meetings with district team leads to ensure compliance and foster professional development
  • Partner with a dedicated mentor assigned by the district for ongoing support
  • Maintain thorough records, collaborating with school staff and families to promote student success
