Key Qualifications:
- Eligibility for (or willingness to obtain) Colorado Department of Education Social Worker credentials; candidates in process encouraged to apply
- Prior school-based social work experience preferred, but strong new graduates also welcomed
- Ability to provide direct services and act as a team lead and case manager
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to onsite, in-person services—remote or hybrid schedules are not available
- Willingness to share updates if you are relocating or completing credentialing
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver approximately 6.5 hours weekly of direct support to K-8 students
- Serve as case manager and team lead, coordinating services and supports
- Collaborate closely with the site’s fellow social worker overseeing upper grades
- Attend monthly meetings with district team leads to ensure compliance and foster professional development
- Partner with a dedicated mentor assigned by the district for ongoing support
- Maintain thorough records, collaborating with school staff and families to promote student success
