Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current School Social Worker licensure or eligibility in Colorado
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working as a social worker within school settings, especially with early childhood or high school students, is preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and advocacy
- Excellent communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills
- Comfort collaborating with teachers, parents, administrators, and other service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to students with academic, attendance, behavioral, or social-emotional needs
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized or group counseling
- Develop strategies and interventions specific to early childhood and high school student caseloads
- Facilitate communication and partnerships with families and community resources
- Contribute actively to multidisciplinary teams and the development of IEPs or 504 plans
- Maintain detailed records and compliance with state and district guidelines
