This full-time, on-site contract role offers the chance to provide essential mental health services to students with varying needs, supporting their educational and emotional growth through the academic year.

We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled professional to serve high school students with mild to moderate, affective, and significant support needs as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). You’ll be instrumental in delivering mental health interventions and collaborating with special education teams to foster student achievement and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider License with a Social Worker Endorsement
• Experience working within school settings preferred, particularly with special education populations
• Knowledge of IEP process and mental health services in educational settings
• Flexibility to adjust to varying caseloads and service-minute requirements
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Willingness to complete time-sensitive credentialing and contract documents before the assignment start

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work and mental health services to assigned high school students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and support students’ IEP goals
• Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
• Serve as a vital resource for students, families, and staff, addressing affective and behavioral needs
• Document and maintain records in accordance with district and state requirements
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required
