School-Based Social Worker - Livonia, Michigan

Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students as a contract Social Worker in a local school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (required)
• Active SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work OR valid MDE School Social Worker Credential
• Experience or practical knowledge in K-12 school settings
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to be fully onsite throughout the assignment duration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct counseling services and interventions for students from kindergarten through high school
• Conduct assessments to identify needs, recommend appropriate services, and track student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive educational plans
• Facilitate group discussions, crisis interventions, and conflict resolution as needed
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
