Location: Lusby, MD 20657
Position: School Social Worker
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week
Setting: On-Site | Two School Locations

A Maryland school district is seeking a School Social Worker to provide support across two school locations during the upcoming school year. The district can accommodate placement preferences based on the candidate’s preferred student age group and location.

Position Details:

August 13, 2026 – June 10, 2027
Full-time position
35 hours per week
On-site
Two school sites
Placement within the district based on age and location preference
Provide social-emotional and behavioral support
Collaborate with educators and related service professionals
Participate in student support and multidisciplinary meetings
Assist with interventions and student services
Help support students’ academic and social-emotional development

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work required
Active Maryland social work licensure required
MSDE educator certification as a School Social Worker preferred
Candidates without the school certification must be willing and eligible to obtain it upon offer
School experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation:

LCSW: $92/hour
