Desired Qualifications:

• Active and valid Social Worker license
• Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents
• Skilled in crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referral
• Commitment to fostering equity and inclusion within diverse student populations
• Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution support
• Develop and implement interventions to support student well-being and academic success
• Connect students and families with appropriate community and school-based resources
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop plans for students' success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP/504 planning when needed
• Deliver workshops or presentations on relevant social issues for staff and families
