Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Social Work licensure appropriate for school settings
  • Experience with PreK-12th grade students highly valued
  • Familiarity with both general education and special education caseloads
  • Comfortable traveling between school sites
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative services to students across a variety of grade levels
  • Support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of both general education and special education students
  • Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals to plan interventions and help create positive environments
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings, contributing important social-emotional insights for eligible students
  • Foster strong relationships with families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required by district standards
