Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
  • Experience working with PreK-12 students, including both general and special education populations
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and community resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to managing caseloads across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work services and interventions to students at various grade levels
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support student success
  • Partner with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to foster positive learning environments
  • Serve as a liaison between students, families, and community resources
  • Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral support, and development of strategies for overcoming barriers to learning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and regulatory requirements
