Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Social Worker (or eligibility)
  • Experience in school settings preferred; PreK-12th grade experience a plus
  • Familiarity working with both general education and special education students
  • Strong collaboration, organizational, and multitasking abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct counseling and social-emotional support services to students across district sites
  • Manage and serve a varied caseload spanning gen ed and SPED populations
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention strategies
  • Support crisis intervention and restorative practices as needed
  • Travel between closely situated schools (all within approximately a mile radius)
