Early Childhood Education (ECE) Kindergarten School-Based Social Worker - Mason, Michigan

A rewarding full-time opportunity is available for an experienced School Social Worker to support early childhood and kindergarten students through a contract assignment. This vital position will provide services for a diverse young learner caseload and facilitate positive change through student support and evaluations.

This assignment begins in November and extends through early 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact in an educational setting. The position requires availability for 32.5 hours per week and centers on early intervention and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Michigan School Social Worker Certification (must be current and in-hand)
• Michigan Social Worker License (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW required)
• Direct experience with school-based social work, particularly in early childhood and kindergarten settings
• Proven ability to complete evaluations and implement interventions for young learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with both staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver social-emotional and behavioral support to early learners
• Conduct assessments and assist with eligibility evaluations
• Write and maintain individualized intervention and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to foster student development
• Participate in Student Support Team and IEP meetings as needed

Successful candidates can expect competitive hourly compensation between $42 and $48, as well as access to healthcare benefits.
