Two full-time contract positions are available, each offering the chance to work closely with dedicated teams at established schools serving urban communities. This opportunity spans from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, providing meaningful stability in a supportive, on-site role.
In this position, you'll be pivotal in providing essential social-emotional support, fostering positive behaviors, and building lasting relationships with students, families, and staff. Key Qualifications:
- Active MSW license in Pennsylvania required
- School-based experience essential
- Must either:
- Hold a PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate OR
- Possess an emergency permit, LSW or LCSW, and be enrolled in a PDE-approved social worker program
- Completion or ability to obtain all required PA clearances
- Ability to work comfortably in an urban academic setting
- Willingness to disclose school/district placement upfront before submission
- Ready to participate in a Zoom interview
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering both group and one-on-one social work services to students grades K–8
- Conducting assessments and collaborating on interventions for academic and socio-emotional needs
- Coordinating with teachers, school counselors, and families to develop supportive strategies
- Maintaining thorough records while observing confidentiality guidelines
- Participating in school activities, staff meetings, and multidisciplinary teams
With set weekday hours from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, you’ll build rapport within a consistent and engaging schedule.
