Michigan School Social Worker

Position Overview

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker in the Milford, Michigan area to support students throughout the entire 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position will focus on supporting students at the middle school level and collaborating with students, families, teachers, and school staff to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services and support to middle school students
• Address students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team
• Participate in student support and special education meetings as needed
• Assist with developing and implementing appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
• Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources
• Support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered school environment

Requirements:

• Michigan School Social Worker Certification required
• Michigan Social Worker License required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with middle school students and multidisciplinary teams
