Key Qualifications:

• Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Valid (or eligibility for) School Social Work licensure
• Experience supporting IEPs and working with students receiving special education services
• Ability to provide group and individual counseling for social, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Strong communication skills for working with parents, staff, and administration
• Tech-savvy and comfortable delivering virtual services, if needed

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted IEP services to students in grades 3–10—approximately 5–6 hours per week
• Conduct assessments and create interventions tailored to students’ individual needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement student plans
• Act as a liaison for students, families, teachers, and service providers
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Support crisis intervention, advocacy, and preventative programming as appropriate
