Certified School-Based Social Worker | Moriarty, New Mexico

Key Qualifications:

• Current LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) credential
• Eligibility and interest in professional supervision to progress toward LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
• Experience in school settings is highly valued
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, counseling, and small group facilitation
• Compassion, flexibility, and collaborative communication style

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Design and implement lessons or interventions for grade-level or small student groups based on specific data
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, serving as a resource for students and staff
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students receive appropriate supports
• Document interventions and progress, maintaining compliance with applicable ethical and legal standards
• Note: No involvement with IEPs is required
