Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure and certification as a School Social Worker
• Experience with elementary and/or middle school students
• Knowledge of child development, crisis intervention, and behavioral management

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and intervention services to students individually and in small groups
• Conduct assessments and develop plans to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create strategies for student success
• Facilitate conflict resolution and support positive peer relationships
• Participate in IEP or 504 meetings, providing input on accommodations and support plans
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
