Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Social Worker license through LARA.
- Michigan Department of Education (MDE) school approval.
- Experience working with elementary-age students and special education populations preferred.
- Familiarity with restorative practices and small group interventions is a plus.
- Full-time availability during school hours (8:35am–3:30pm).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a caseload of approximately 15 special education students in a school building of 195 total students (grades 4–5).
- Provide both special education and general education social work services.
- Run small intervention groups to assist at-risk students.
- Implement restorative practices when and where needed.
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote positive student outcomes.
