School Social Worker - Naperville, IL

Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Naperville, IL. This full-time School Social Worker opportunity spans the beginning of the 26/27 school year, from August 7th, 2026 to October 26th, 2026. You’ll play a vital role in covering a maternity leave, working closely with approximately 40 students to help them thrive academically and emotionally during this important time.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a valid School Social Worker license/certification recognized in Illinois
• Previous experience providing direct support in a K-12 school environment preferred
• Deep understanding of student IEPs and ability to document and deliver services accordingly
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Organized, adaptable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to a caseload of 40 students, in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct individual and group sessions based on IEP minutes
• Maintain accurate records of services delivered and student progress
• Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to address student needs and goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input regarding student social/emotional growth and recommendations for services
