Social Worker in Naples, FL

You’ll make a meaningful impact supporting K-8 students as a full-time School Social Worker in the vibrant region surrounding Naples, FL—including Immokalee, Lehigh, and Ft. Myers. This contract position runs from August 10 through May 27, offering 40 hours per week filled with opportunities to help students and their families thrive.

Your expertise will contribute to several essential areas, including Medicaid billing, evaluations, and direct support for both the school community and families. As a part of your schedule, you’ll participate in parent/teacher conferences twice a month (staying until 6:30 PM on those days) to help build strong connections with those you serve.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Experience working in school settings (elementary or middle school preferred)
• Background in Medicaid billing and student evaluations strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support students
• Conduct evaluations and create intervention plans
• Manage and complete Medicaid billing documentation accurately
• Engage with community resources to connect families with essential services
• Provide culturally responsive counseling and advocacy for students from diverse backgrounds
