Your expertise as a school-based social worker will be valued and utilized in an onsite role serving an elementary caseload. This position is full-time, spanning 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting August 31, 2026, and extending indefinitely thanks to holiday schedules with potential for renewal. Be prepared to primarily conduct evaluations and step confidently into short-term assignments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active CT DPH and CT (071) school social worker licenses/certifications
  • Prior school-based social work experience required
  • Ability to thrive in short-leave, onsite settings
  • Available for full-time, in-person work (no virtual option)
  • Confident with conducting student evaluations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work support to elementary students
  • Lead student evaluations and collaborate with faculty to enhance student well-being
  • Document and communicate findings, supporting each child’s development
  • Demonstrate adaptability with assignments and school schedules
