School-Based Social Worker - New Castle, Colorado

Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students as a School Social Worker in a friendly educational environment. This contract role, running from mid-August through early June, invites you to work onsite and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student well-being.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Teaching License (CDE)
• SSW or Counselor Endorsement
• Previous experience providing social work services in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver social-emotional support, intervention, and counseling for K-12 students
• Assess individual and group needs and develop tailored support plans
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive school culture
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and document student progress
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
