Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Active state licensure as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school settings and/or providing crisis intervention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in crisis management and student support
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate and ongoing crisis management and intervention for students in need
- Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a safe and healthy school climate
- Participate in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) or intervention meetings as needed
- Offer counseling services and connect students with community resources and additional support systems
