Full-time Middle School RBT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Brookfield, CT Area
Pay: $23.26–$31.67 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 33 hours per week
Hours: 7:20 AM–2:20 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a middle school student throughout the school day
• Implement behavior intervention and support strategies under BCBA guidance
• Assist the student with managing behavioral challenges and developing appropriate replacement behaviors
• Support positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes
• Collect and document behavioral data as directed by the supervising BCBA
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the BCBA
• Maintain a consistent, structured, and supportive environment
• Promote student independence and positive behavior

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience working with students or individuals with behavioral needs preferred
• School-based experience is a plus
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a BCBA and school-based team
• Commitment to supporting student growth and success
