Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable using technology for documentation and virtual meetings as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and community agencies to connect students to necessary resources
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to improve student success
  • Participate in IEP/504 meetings and support case management
  • Conduct assessments and gather data to inform recommendations
  • Deliver crisis intervention and prevention programs as necessary
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate by promoting equity and access
