What You’ll Bring:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
• Previous experience working in schools or with children and adolescents is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and community resources
• Collaborative spirit and a professional, empathetic approach to problem-solving

Your Role Will Involve:

• Conducting assessments to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Delivering direct services including counseling, interventions, and crisis support
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to design effective support plans
• Facilitating group sessions and classroom-based activities that build social skills and resilience
• Making referrals to community agencies and outside resources as needed
• Keeping thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
