Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Valid Illinois Social Worker license
• Previous experience working as a School Social Worker preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with diverse students, staff, and families
• Strong problem-solving skills and a compassionate, resourceful approach

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students
• Develop and implement intervention programs to support students’ social and emotional needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to address student challenges
• Connect students and families to essential resources within the community
• Maintain accurate, confidential case records and documentation
• Participate in meetings, IEP development, and assessment processes as required
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
