In this position, you’ll play a crucial part in creating a positive school experience by supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid state license (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
• School Social Work Approval through MDE (preliminary, temporary, or full approval required)
• Experience supporting students in educational settings preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and dedicated approach to student well-being
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to students on your caseload, focusing on PreK and elementary levels, with possible assignments in middle and high school groups
• Conduct assessments and create intervention plans tailored to each student's needs
• Work with teachers and administrative staff to develop positive behavioral strategies
• Serve as a liaison among families, schools, and community resources
• Document services and progress notes in compliance with district standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
