What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree (required; candidates without a master’s will not be considered)
- Valid LARA license (see Michigan state licensing requirements)
- One of the following credentials:
- Licensed master’s-level psychologist
- Limited licensed master’s-level psychologist (under supervision)
- MDE credentialed master’s-level school psychologist
- Licensed master’s-level social worker
- Licensed master’s-level school social worker
- Limited licensed master’s-level social worker (under supervision)
- Licensed master’s-level marriage and family therapist
- Licensed master’s-level professional counselor (or limited licensed under supervision)
- School Counselor License (SCL), Michigan Teaching Certificate with NT endorsement, or relevant preliminary/temporary counselor credentials (with commitment to completing LPC requirements if needed)
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver social-emotional and behavioral support services for K-12 students
- Facilitate professional learning and positive behavior interventions in classrooms
- Provide consultation and collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
- Participate in planning and implementation of school-wide mental health initiatives
