Key qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Prior experience in school-based social work or a similar educational setting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Genuine passion for supporting students’ emotional and academic growth
• Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial and ongoing assessments to identify students’ needs
• Delivering individual and group counseling services
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
• Designing and implementing effective intervention strategies
• Participating in IEP and 504 meetings, offering expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Advocating for student well-being and connecting families with community resources
