Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) is required.
  • SSW or Counselor Endorsement must be held.
  • Demonstrated experience providing social work or counseling services within a school environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, educators, and families.
  • Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student populations.
  • Passion for supporting student well-being and developmental needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct social work or counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, academic, and social challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement intervention plans.
  • Assess student needs, maintain confidential case documentation, and contribute to the development of IEPs when required.
  • Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
  • Foster a supportive school climate and connect families with community resources when appropriate.
  • Remain onsite to ensure hands-on engagement and effective support.
