Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Teaching License (CDE) is required.
- SSW or Counselor Endorsement must be held.
- Demonstrated experience providing social work or counseling services within a school environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, educators, and families.
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student populations.
- Passion for supporting student well-being and developmental needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct social work or counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, academic, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement intervention plans.
- Assess student needs, maintain confidential case documentation, and contribute to the development of IEPs when required.
- Facilitate small group and individual counseling sessions.
- Foster a supportive school climate and connect families with community resources when appropriate.
- Remain onsite to ensure hands-on engagement and effective support.
