Social Worker in Parker, CO

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Colorado social worker license required
• Social work experience in a school setting, ideally with adolescents or high school students
• Solid understanding of social-emotional development and behavioral supports for teens
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and outside agencies
• Able to maintain detailed, confidential documentation and coordinate resources effectively
• Comfortable working full-time in a high school environment for the contract duration

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling, support, and interventions to high school students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create comprehensive support plans
• Conduct behavioral assessments and implement evidence-based strategies
• Facilitate small groups or individual sessions addressing social, emotional, and academic needs
• Act as a liaison among families, community resources, and the school
• Participate in meetings, case reviews, and staff development as needed
