Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Colorado social worker license required
- Social work experience in a school setting, ideally with adolescents or high school students
- Solid understanding of social-emotional development and behavioral supports for teens
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators, families, and outside agencies
- Able to maintain detailed, confidential documentation and coordinate resources effectively
- Comfortable working full-time in a high school environment for the contract duration
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling, support, and interventions to high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create comprehensive support plans
- Conduct behavioral assessments and implement evidence-based strategies
- Facilitate small groups or individual sessions addressing social, emotional, and academic needs
- Act as a liaison among families, community resources, and the school
- Participate in meetings, case reviews, and staff development as needed
