Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current and full School Social Worker certification (please have certification available upon application)
- Prior experience working within a school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized student support plans
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting student well-being and academic achievement
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ needs and develop appropriate interventions
- Serve as a liaison connecting students and families with community resources and external support systems
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate student progress and revise plans as necessary
- Promote positive school climate through social-emotional learning initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Respond promptly to crises and provide support for students and staff
