Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a current and full School Social Worker certification (please have certification available upon application)
• Prior experience working within a school setting is strongly preferred
• Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized student support plans
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting student well-being and academic achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ needs and develop appropriate interventions
• Serve as a liaison connecting students and families with community resources and external support systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate student progress and revise plans as necessary
• Promote positive school climate through social-emotional learning initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Respond promptly to crises and provide support for students and staff
