This full-time position offers consistent hours, Monday through Friday from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, with Wednesdays extending until 3:00 PM. Qualifications:
- Active state license (LMSW, LSW, or LCSW) and school certification through RIDE; proof of application required if certification is pending
- Demonstrated experience working within a school setting or closely related environment
- Skilled in delivering services to both individuals and groups, emphasizing social-emotional support
- Confidence leading social skills groups and collaborative activities
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to student well-being
Role Overview:
- Deliver targeted social work interventions to students in both one-on-one and group settings
- Facilitate social skills groups tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support individualized student plans
- Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate records of services rendered
- Advocate for the social, emotional, and mental health needs of students
- Provide crisis response and intervention as necessary
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities to enhance service delivery
