Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado CDE license in Social Work, or eligible and willing to apply
  • Experience providing school-based social work preferred, especially across K-12 or varied age groups
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs and varying ability levels
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Organized and reliable, able to manage a caseload of approximately 45

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track services supporting student learning, needs, and progress
  • Engage with students as individuals, adapting strategies to address unique challenges and foster their interests
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment, ensuring supervision and compliance with health and safety policies at all times
  • Facilitate the development of critical thinking, problem solving, and self-advocacy among students
  • Regularly communicate with teachers and parents to share insights, strategies, and progress towards student goals

This is a full-time, onsite assignment for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting multiple school locations. You’ll be instrumental in empowering students, helping them overcome obstacles, and championing their social-emotional well-being.
