Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado CDE license in Social Work, or eligible and willing to apply
- Experience providing school-based social work preferred, especially across K-12 or varied age groups
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse needs and varying ability levels
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Organized and reliable, able to manage a caseload of approximately 45
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and track services supporting student learning, needs, and progress
- Engage with students as individuals, adapting strategies to address unique challenges and foster their interests
- Promote a safe and supportive environment, ensuring supervision and compliance with health and safety policies at all times
- Facilitate the development of critical thinking, problem solving, and self-advocacy among students
- Regularly communicate with teachers and parents to share insights, strategies, and progress towards student goals
This is a full-time, onsite assignment for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting multiple school locations. You’ll be instrumental in empowering students, helping them overcome obstacles, and championing their social-emotional well-being.
