K-3 School Social Worker

Location: Philadelphia, PA Area
Pay: $39.56–$48.56 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 35–40 hours per week
Start/End Date: ASAP – June 2027

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group social-emotional support to K-3 students
• Support students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families
• Assist with developing and implementing student support plans
• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate behavioral support when needed
• Connect students and families with appropriate school and community resources
• Maintain accurate and confidential student documentation
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required
• LSW or LCSW license required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and school staff
