Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted social work services to students in grades K-4, focusing on emotional support needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement individualized support plans
  • Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention when necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Provide guidance on positive social interactions and conflict resolution
  • Offer resources and referrals for students and families to access additional supports

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure in social work for Pennsylvania schools
  • Previous experience as a school-based social worker preferred
