Requirements:
- Active Michigan school social worker certification (310) – must provide verification.
- Experience supporting K-12 students, ideally in special education settings.
- Candidate must be available for both ESY (Extended School Year) from 6/30/2026–8/6/2026 (up to 25 hours/week) and NSY (Next School Year) from 8/17/2026–6/11/2027 (up to 35 hours/week).
- Onsite work only — remote roles are not available.
- If lacking active Michigan certification, approved supervision must be arranged prior to your interview.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based social work services to students K-12.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and district leadership to support individual student needs.
- Complete assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings for special education students.
- Document services rendered in accordance with district and state guidelines.
