Ideal candidates will bring expertise in one of the following areas: School Social Work, School Psychology, or as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC). You will collaborate with educational teams, advocate for student needs, and serve as a key resource in creating supportive educational environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification in School Social Work, School Psychology, or as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)
- Previous experience with case management in an educational setting preferred
- Strong understanding of learning disabilities and related interventions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with students, staff, and families across diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of students requiring specialized support and interventions
- Facilitate assessments, meetings, and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations
- Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom strategies and behavioral supports
