Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed or certified Social Worker, eligible to practice in a school setting

  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with faculty, families, and community agencies
  • Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed, confidential records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to students’ developmental needs
  • Assess students’ social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, developing appropriate support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators on intervention strategies
  • Facilitate parent meetings and communicate resources to families
  • Respond to crises with sensitivity and professionalism, supporting a safe and welcoming school environment
  • Promote positive mental health, resilience, and conflict resolution among students
