Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Professional credentials and experience as a licensed Social Worker
• Previous work in elementary, middle, or early high school settings is highly valued
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and behavioral development unique to 5th-9th grade students
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling tailored to the needs of students in 5th through 9th grade
• Develop strategies to support students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to create comprehensive intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide referrals to community resources when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality in all student interactions
