School Social Worker - Quincy, MI

You'll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to remove barriers and help young people thrive. This role offers 35 onsite hours per week from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and allows flexibility in caseload based on your expertise and interests.

Qualifications:

• Active Social Worker license in the state of Michigan
• Previous experience as a social worker within K-12 school settings is highly desirable
• Ability to connect with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to a student-centered approach with a focus on equity and inclusion
• Flexibility and professionalism to adapt to changing needs and priorities

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling, intervention, and support services for individual students and groups
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to learning or wellbeing
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families on strategies for student success
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and partner agencies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
• Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to positive school culture
