Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work services
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and counseling techniques for children and families
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and document services according to school district policies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students experiencing social, academic, or emotional difficulties
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement support plans
• Conduct social-developmental assessments and contribute insights to multi-disciplinary teams
• Engage families and caregivers in supporting students’ educational journeys, acting as a liaison between home and school
• Deliver crisis intervention and conflict resolution services as needed
• Advocate for students’ needs and assist with referrals to community resources
