Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Active Michigan state licensure as a School Social Worker
  • Proven experience supporting K-12 students within a school setting
  • Expertise in clinical assessment and implementing interventions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with students, families, and staff
  • Collaborative approach to working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve a diverse student body, providing direct support and advocacy for both General and Special Education populations
  • Take the lead as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring compliance and support plans are precisely implemented
  • Design and deliver evidence-based social-emotional learning and behavioral intervention programming
  • Offer crisis intervention and proactive support for students facing challenges
  • Work closely with educators, families, and school leadership to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain clear documentation and track progress for student interventions and support plans
