Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Social Work (SW) License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience as a Social Worker within school settings, particularly with PreK–3rd grade students, preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, though not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized plans and strategies for student success
- Conduct assessments and develop measurable goals to improve students’ social wellbeing and classroom participation
- Serve as an advocate for students and families, connecting them with community resources and supports as needed
- Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting equity, inclusion, and respect among all community members
