Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Social Work (SW) License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Experience as a Social Worker within school settings, particularly with PreK–3rd grade students, preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus, though not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and interventions for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized plans and strategies for student success
  • Conduct assessments and develop measurable goals to improve students’ social wellbeing and classroom participation
  • Serve as an advocate for students and families, connecting them with community resources and supports as needed
  • Contribute to a positive school climate by promoting equity, inclusion, and respect among all community members
