Social Worker in Rockford, IL

A full-time Social Worker position is available for an elementary school serving PreK through 3rd grade students. This onsite role, located in Harvard, IL, offers a contract for the full school year.

Key responsibilities include providing social work services to students, collaborating with educators and families to support student well-being, and implementing intervention plans to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The Social Worker will work directly with students and staff to create a positive and supportive educational environment.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Social Worker (SW) License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage confidential student information appropriately
