We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker near Roscommon County, MI to join our team. The School Social Worker will provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff to support their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and adolescents, as well as a deep understanding of social work principles and practices.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited university.
Current state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker.
Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of child development, mental health, and social work theories and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, families, and school staff.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to the role.
