School Social Worker – Full-Time School Position | West Chicago, Illinois

Soliant is seeking a qualified School Social Worker for a full-time school-based position in Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to support elementary students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and well-being.

1. Position Details
   • Position: School Social Worker
   • Location: Illinois
   • Employment Type: Full-Time
   • Schedule: Monday–Friday
   • Hours: 35–37.5 hours per week
   • Start Date: August 10
   • End Date: November 5 (with the potential for a few overlap days upon the district social worker's return)
   • Caseload: Approximately 35 elementary students
   • School Setting: Elementary school with no specialized programs or self-contained classrooms
   • Pay: $40.33–$50.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
   Responsibilities
   • Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
   • Conduct social, emotional, and behavioral assessments.
   • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
   • Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
   • Develop intervention strategies and connect families with community resources.
   • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
   • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
   Qualifications
   • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement or all required licenses and credentials to practice as a School Social Worker in Illinois.
   • Previous school-based experience is preferred.
   • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
   • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
