This contract opportunity offers two positions within a collaborative educational environment near Saint Paul, MN. You'll be an integral part of a dedicated student services team, providing crucial mental health and social-emotional support, and advocating for student well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Social Worker licensure/certification required for the state of Minnesota.
  • No educator credential needed.
  • Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents, preferably within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, educators, and external providers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage confidentiality, and effectively handle sensitive situations.
  • Organized, flexible, and responsive to the diverse needs of students.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct social work services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, social, and family concerns.
  • Collaborate with school staff and administration to promote a safe, positive learning environment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies and support plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between school, families, and community agencies.
  • Offer crisis intervention and mental health support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with district policies and professional standards.
  • Participate in meetings, team planning, and ongoing professional development throughout the school year.
  • Flexible assignment; caseloads will be determined following the interview process.
